2024-25 Sewing Retreats Sponsored byStitching Girls Society
By popular demand, our Stitching Girls Society Sewing Retreats are adding more days. They all feature the same sharing of ideas, sewing projects, inspiration, fun and friendship with good times from sun up to sun down, no interruptions, yummy food, beautiful scenery and all the time in the world to sew!. Our Fall for this retreat have not yet been announced, but see our Classes page for information about last yeat's classes.
Stitching Girls Sociey COVID POLICY - - Since Covid infections have waned due to available vacciations, our retreats will follow the protocals of our host venues. Masking and vaccination policies will be clearly stated to attendees prior to each retreat. We offer single room sleeping accomodations whenever possible but usually with additional venue dictated pricing.
Long ago our Retreats were known as the Vashon Island Sewing Retreats, to reflect our origins at Camp Burton on Vashon Island. In 2009, we formed the Stitching Girls Society nonprofit to continue the already long tradition of educational and fun Sewing Retreats. By 2018, we were no longer convening on Vashon Island, so we have changed our retreat name to the Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats!
Our Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats continue to be attended by the same enthusiastic and creative group of sewists as always and we are welcoming new Retreaters and new Members at every Retreat. See more information about each Retreat below and on the other pages of this site.
