2026 & 2027 Sewing Retreats Sponsored byStitching Girls Society
If you like to sew, come to our Stitching Girls Society Sewing Retreats where you will find many new friends for sharing ideas, inspiration and technical know-how. We get to work on our projects from sun up to sun down without interruptions, except for fun activities, chatting with friends, and eating yummy food - all while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery around us.
Starting in 1985 our Retreats were known as the Vashon Island Sewing Retreats, to reflect our origins at Camp Burton on Vashon Island. In 2009, we reformed as the Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats! nonprofit to continue the then 24 year tradition of educational and fun Sewing Retreats. In 2018, we began offering sewing retreats were at other venues. In fall of 2024, we celebrated our 40th Fall Retreat. Click here to see photos of all the fun we had.
Our Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats continue to be attended by the same enthusiastic and creative group of sewists as always and we welcome new Retreaters and new Members at every Retreat. See more information about coming Retreats below.
