2020 Sewing Retreats Sponsored byStitching Girls Society
2019 has been a fun and productive year and we are now planning for our upcoming 2020 Retreats.
Since 1985, our Sewing Retreats have been known as Vashon Island Sewing Retreats, which reflected our origins at Camp Burton on Vashon Island. In 2009, the Stitching Girls Society was formed to continue the already long tradition of educational and fun Sewing Retreats under nonprofit directorship. By 2018, we were no longer convening on Vashon Island, so we have changed the name to the Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats!
All our Retreats include sewing and fun, sharing ideas, sharing projects, sharing inspiration, sharing friendship. Good times from sun up to sun down with no interruptions, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and all the time in the world to sew!
Our Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats continue to be attended by the same enthusiastic and creative group of sewists as before and we are always welcoming new Retreaters and new Members. See more information about each Retreat below and on these pages.
Members Only Weekdays

at St Andrews
The Members Only Weekdays is a small sewing get together. This year it will be at St Andrew's House near Union on Hood Canal. A fun get-away for sewing projects of your own with your sewing buddies and fellow SGS Members. No Classes.
This unstructured weekend, at Camp Huston in Gold Bar, Washington, on the way to Stevens Pass, is open to all who want to sew for a do-your-own-projects weekend of sharing camaraderie, sewing ideas, good food and fun, in the natural ambiance of the scenic Pacific Northwest mountains. No classes.
