The Stitching Girls Society was originally formed in December of 2009 to provide for the continuation of the Annual Sewing Retreats on Vashon Island after their initial 25 year start up history.  So, the Vashon Island Sewing Retreats, one in the spring and one in the fall,    remain the main focus of Stitching Girls Society activities.
